Delete your account

Your account, your call. Here’s how.

You can delete your Tabful account and data at any time, from inside the app. This page explains exactly what that does.

In the app

    Open Tabful

    Make sure you're signed in to the account you want to delete.

    Go to Profile → Security

    Find the Security section on your Profile.

  3. 3

    Tap Delete account

    Read the summary of what will be removed.

  4. 4

    Type DELETE to confirm

    This is permanent. There is no undo.

What is removed

  • Your sign-in account (Google or email)
  • Your profile: display name, email and notification token
  • Your public name record that group members could see
  • Your on-device Timeline, which Tabful offers to email you first

What other people keep

  • Groups and expenses you shared with other real people. They still need that history for accurate balances.
  • Your name as it already appears on those shared expenses.

This is how every shared-expense app works: a departed member's past expenses stay visible to the people who shared them.

Can’t open the app?

If you no longer have the phone, email us from the address on your account and we will delete your account and profile data manually, on the same terms as above.
