Any bill, split the way it actually happened
Pick who paid, who shares it and how. Tabful checks every split adds up before it lets you save.
- Equal, exact amounts, percentages, shares
- Itemized splits with tax and tip included
- Whole-paise maths: a bill never gains or loses a paisa
- Several payers when three or more people chipped in
Everyone pays the same share.
- YYou ₹600
- AAsha ₹600
- DDev ₹600
- MMeera ₹600
Adds up to exactly ₹2,400 — Tabful never loses a paisa to rounding.
The full list
All of it, in plain words.
Splitting
Five split types
Equal, exact amounts, percentages, shares and itemized. Each is checked to add up before it saves.
Tax and tip
Itemized bills can include tax and tip, so the split matches the real bill.
Several payers
In groups of three or more, record that more than one person chipped in, and how much each.
Whole-paise maths
Shares are worked out in integer paise. A bill never gains or loses a paisa.
Fewest payments
A group's debts are reduced to the smallest set of payments that settles everyone.
Friend-only expenses
Split something with one friend without making a group for it.
Groups & people
Groups for every crew
Trips, flats, couples, events: ten group types, each with its own currency and balances.
Three ways to invite
A link, a QR code or a short code. The code forgives spaces, lower case and a missing prefix.
Add people by name
Not on Tabful yet? Add them by name and merge them with their account when they join.
Names found automatically
Members' names come from their own accounts. Nobody has to type a friend's name in.
Make it yours
Ten avatar colours, a group photo, trip dates and balance alerts.
Recurring expenses
Rent and bills repeat on their own and sync to everyone in the group.
Settling up
Approval on both sides
A payment counts once the other person approves it. Decline it, or withdraw it before they answer.
UPI handoff
Tabful opens your UPI app with the amount and the friend's real UPI ID. It never assumes it worked.
Payment requests
Ask for what you are owed, or send a gentle nudge. Nothing goes out without you.
Automatic reminders
An in-app reminder appears when a payment has been unpaid for three days.
Push notifications
New expenses and settlement requests reach the other person's phone.
All square
A small celebration when a balance reaches zero.
Records & export
Receipts
Attach a photo of the receipt to any expense.
CSV and PDF
Export a group as a spreadsheet or a formatted PDF report.
Import from Splitwise
Bring a Splitwise CSV export across instead of starting again.
A timeline
A running log of what changed, by whom.
Group albums
Photos from the trip, kept with the group.
Every currency
Each group has its own currency; different currencies are never added together.
Privacy & control
App lock
Open Tabful with your fingerprint or face.
Light and dark
Follow the phone, or choose.
Your name is public, your email isn't
Group members see your name and avatar colour; your email stays private.
Delete it all
Delete your account in the app any time. See exactly what that removes.
